About IsBerg Labs

The iceberg is not a logo. It's the diagnosis.

Ninety percent of an iceberg sits below the waterline. So does your company. IsBerg Labs exists to map the part nobody can see, with the evidence to prove it.

Why this problem

Every operator we've worked with carries the same quiet fear: the company runs on knowledge that lives in a handful of heads, and nobody could prove it until someone left. Every security lead carries the mirror image: systems full of grants and assets nobody remembers authorizing. Both are the same problem, an organization that cannot see itself. The tools that claim to fix it measure either people (and become surveillance) or systems (and become inventory without meaning). The answer was always the fusion: ask people properly, check it against systems honestly, and show the evidence for every claim.

Why Quebec

Because the constraints here are the product. Law 25 forces privacy to be architectural, not decorative, which is exactly the discipline this category needs. Bilingual operation is not a feature toggle in Quebec; it's the market. And Canadian data residency isn't a premium tier here, it's the baseline expectation of every serious buyer we talk to. Building under these constraints from day one means they hold everywhere else.

Why now

Two curves just crossed. AI finally makes twenty-minute structured discussions with a quarter of a company's headcount cheap enough to run in two weeks. And every organization's AI plan just made the missing map expensive: you cannot safely automate what you cannot accurately describe. The companies that map themselves first will automate safely. The rest will learn what they didn't know from what breaks.

The claim discipline

The same rule governs the product and this website: no claim without evidence. No benchmark or accuracy claims until a published, reproducible evaluation exists. No testimonials until real customers give written permission. Every feature on this site carries a badge that matches the actual roadmap, maintained every two weeks, signed by the founder. In a category full of overclaiming, verifiable restraint is the pitch.

And the penguins?

They keep the lab honest. Penguins survive by knowing exactly what's under the surface, and by moving in a group, where no individual is scored. We couldn't have designed a better mascot for a company that maps hidden depths and refuses to rank people.

We're building this with three design partners now.

The offer is published, the selection criteria are published, and one of them is non-negotiable: a real decision waiting on the answer.
