- Claim card
- The atomic finding: a plain statement, a confidence band, the sources behind it, the contradictions it survived, and what would raise confidence.
- Confidence band
- A range with a reason (like 52–78%), never a decimal score that implies false precision.
- Evidence tiers (T1–T4)
- Declared (what a person tells us), Corroborated (two independent sources), Verified (confirmed against systems of record), Documented (bound to a governed artifact with an owner and review date).
- Contradiction log
- Everywhere documentation and reality disagree, recorded as findings in themselves, never averaged away.
- Ask-Once
- The hard rule that a discussion never asks what the system already knows. Previous answers, the scan, and the org structure brief every conversation.
- Shadow AI
- AI tools that have access to company data through OAuth grants without ever going through IT review.
- Knowledge contract
- An explicit assignment of who maintains which knowledge domain, making upkeep a responsibility instead of a hope.
- Stale-aware wiki
- A wiki where every page carries an owner, a review date, and the evidence behind it, and flags itself when its evidence moves on.
- Agent apprenticeship
- The gate before automation: an agent predicts each step of a process, is scored against reality, and receives scoped, revocable authority only after a human signs the certificate.
- Trust Ledger
- Each person's view of what they contributed, what changed because of it, and who can see it, with one-click correction and withdrawal that cascades.
- Law 25
- Quebec's private-sector privacy law. We treat it as engineering requirements: residency, minimization, retention bounds, and rights shipped as product features.
- Key-person risk
- A dependency where a single person's absence stops a process, ranked by evidence, not by org-chart height.
